Brian Watson for Colorado Treasurer (2018)

During Colorado’s Republican primary Brian Watson, a successful entrepreneur who has never served in office, was facing two well know incumbent State Representatives in his bid to become the state’s next Treasurer. With six weeks until election day we were brought on to provide canvassing coverage throughout the state.

Two weeks later Murphy Nasica had launched a team of 10 across all major population centers. Over the next month our team made 38,067 canvassing attempts reaching the homes of 63,421 voters. After all votes were counted Mr. Watson secured a 1.05% margin of victory receiving 4,789 more votes (out of 452,367 cast) than the second-place opponent. In a race which saw the opponents focus their resources on TV and radio advertising, it was the commitment to broad grassroots coverage across the state that proved to make the winning difference.
